Charmed

Three sisters (Prue, Piper and Phoebe) reunite and unlock their powers to become the Charmed Ones - the most powerful witches to exist. Now they must vanquish evil and save innocents while living their lives as normal women in the real world. Life isn't so easy when you're Charmed. In Season 4, half-sister Paige took over for the dearly departed Prue, to once again form the Charmed Ones and fight evil and save innocents.

Holly Marie Combs

Lauralei Combs was only 15 years old when she gave birth to Holly. Holly's parents' marriage only lasted two years. Mother and daughter lived near the beach in San Diego until Holly was eight. After that she lived with her mother and stepfather in New York City. All three lived with Holly's grandmother at one point. They lived in a long series of small studio apartments, never living in one place for very long. Holly says she is now a pack rat because she never had any place to keep things while she was growing up. She also blames her passion for interior decorating on her gypsy-like childhood. Instead of constantly moving, she now constantly redecorates her house in the San Fernando Valley. She spent four years looking for the right house to buy. The deciding factor was a large kennel for her dogs. She also has two horses which she keeps at a nearby stable. Until recently, Holly's mother was living in her guest room. She was previously married to actor Bryan (Bugsy) Smith. They divorced in 1996, after four years of marriage.

Holly's mother, Lauralei, has worked as an actress and a singer. Her stepfather is a musician. While living in New York, Holly attended the Professional Children's School, a prep school for aspiring entertainers. At the age of eleven, she got her first movie role in the 1985 film "Walls of Glass."

Holly's first major success came when she was eighteen with a role on Picket Fences. The part was rewritten for her, but she almost didn't get it. Her first meeting with David E. Kelley did not go well, but he ultimately decided to cast her and rewrote the character to fit Holly's personality when he was unable to find anyone who fit the part. After insulting her in their first interview, Kelley had to convince Holly to take the part. Of the incident, Holly says, "I had quite an attitude going." She played Kimberly Brock for four seasons and now speaks very highly of David Kelley's talents.

Of her position in the cast of "Charmed," she says she is "the least ‘babe of the babes.'" Although Holly feels "positively deprived" next to Shannen and Alyssa, she felt it was "ridiculous" for her to wear a push-up bra during filming and after a couple of episodes refused to wear it. Of her work on Charmed, Holly says she had to accept that "what I do is basically entertainment." "It can't be ground-shaking moral dilemmas all the time." Co-star Shannen Doherty, who knew her even before they were cast as sisters on "Charmed," describes Holly as "fiery and feisty." Alyssa Milano admires her comedic gifts, "She can be dry like Bob Newhart or physically hilarious."
But due to Shannen and Alyssa not getting along, Shannen quit and Rose McGowan replaced Prue as the long lost sister: Paige!

Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano is the daughter of Italian-American parents Lin, a fashion designer, and Tom, a film music editor. Alyssa was born in a working class neighborhood in Brooklyn and grew up in a modest house on Staten Island.

One day, her babysitter, who was an aspiring dancer, dragged Alyssa along to a an open audtion for the first national tour of Annie. But it was Alyssa, not the sitter, who beat out 1,500 other wanna be stage actresses to snag a role. So at the tender age of seven, with her mother in tow, Alyssa joined the tour as July, one of the orphans.

After 18 months on the road, Alyssa, who had begun to garner a reputation as an energetic and charismatic young actress, left Annie to be featured in off-Broadway productions and television commercials.

Then in 1983, at age 10, she landed her breakthrough role on the new sitcom "Who's the Boss?" as Tony Danza's saccharine sweet daughter, Samantha Micelli, a kid whose native Brooklyn accent rivaled her TV dad's. In order for Alyssa to accept the gig, the Milano family had to uproot and move 3,000 miles to Hollywood.

Rose Mc Gowan

She currently stars on "Charmed," She replaced Shannen Doherty, who quit the show to pursue other projects. Shannen Doherty
Role: Prudence 'Prue' Halliwell (Season 1-3)

She was born Shannen Maria Doherty on April 12th, 1971 to parents Tom and Rosa and has an older brother, Sean, who was born four years earlier in August of '67.

Shannen was born in Memphis, Tennessee where her father, Tom worked in a bank and her mother, Rosa owned a beauty parlour. At the age of seven, Shannen and her family moved to Los Angeles where she wanted to pursue her dream of television stardom.

At the age of ten, her dream came true where she guest starred on the show "Father Murphy" playing "Drusilla Shannon" for a couple of episodes. After playing roles such as "Bluebell" in the movie "Night Shift", and "Mrs. Brisby" in the movie "The Secret of NIMH", her talents landed her the very special starring role of "Jenny Wilder" in the television series "Little House on the Prairie".

Shannen kept her acting career going by continuing to earn guest appearing roles on more television shows such as "Airwolf" and "Circus of the Stars". In 1985, her career reached another high point where she played "Maggie Malene" in the movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" which starred Sarah Jessica Parker and Academy Award Winner Helen Hunt.

She was in the TV/movie "The Other Lover" playing Alison Fielding. She also landed a starring role in another television series. "Our House" was about a women "Jesse Witherspoon" who's husband past away and she and her three children moves in with her father in law. Shannen played "Kris Witherspoon", one of Jesse's kids. The series only lasted 2 seasons. She continued getting different guest starring roles in other television series such as "Shelley Fowler" on an episode of "Highway to Heaven", and "Janine" on an episode of "21 Jump Street". In 1989, she wowed the public eye again with her role as "Heather Duke" in the dark comedy hit about teen suicide, "Heathers".

Now after leaving "Charmed" and staring her show "Scare Tactics", Shannen is still working on roles for the silver screen. When she isn't working she resides to her Los Angeles home with her four horses and three dogs, where she enjoys spending time on her ranch and with her close friends and family.

Brian Krause
Role: Leo Wyatt (Season 2-8)

A native Southern Californian, Brian entertained the idea of acting while in high school. At the age of 16, he enrolled in his first professional acting class and began working in television. Initially interested in a career in sports medicine, he pursued a semi-professional soccer career with a traveling team. When he landed the lead role in a major motion picture film, he gave up the cleats for a thespian mask.

Making his feature film debut in "Return To The Blue Lagoon," opposite Milla Jovovich, Brian went on to a number of starring roles in the theatrical releases "December," Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers," "The Liar's Club," "Kiss Of Fate," "Sight Unseen" and "Mind Games", among others.

Brian acted as Leo Wyatt, the supernatural guardian of the bewitching Halliwell sisters, on the WB television series "Charmed." Before landing his recurring role, he had supporting roles in multiple telefilms, guest-starred on "Walker, Texas Ranger" and was series regular Matthew Cory on the daytime drama "Another World."

Julian McMahon threw himself into learning an American accent years ago and can now slip into it easily when acting.

McMahon was the second of three children. He studied law at the University of Sydney, but he became bored with his classes after his first year and began a career in modeling, working primarily in commercials. In 1987, he headed off for print modeling assignments in Los Angeles, New York, Milan, Rome, Paris, and other international fashion centers.

Julian has won many hearts as the lovable demon Belthezor/Cole joining the witches of "Charmed" in the third season. He also had roles in "In Quiet Night" and "Chasing Sleep." Most recently he has gained critical acclaim for his role on the FX series "Nip/Tuck." He also appeared in the 2005 blockbuster "Fantastic Four" as the evil Dr. Doom.

Dorian Gregory
Role: Darryl Morris (Season 1-7)

Dorian Gregory, most notable for playing Darryl Morris on the television show Charmed. Currently, he is the host of Soul Train.

The 35-year-old actor is an active humanitarian, Dorian Gregory is involved in the Jeopardy Program, sponsored by the L.A.P.D. for the youth at risk, as well as serving as the National Spokesman for the American Diabetes Association.

He was diagnosed with the disease when he was nine, and now talks to young adults and children "because I want them to see that there are no boundaries, no barriers."

Dorian is working to raise funds to help find a cure for diabetes and offering information to support people (now) living with diabetes. "I'm a veteran Diabetic, over 10 years, I talk to new diabetics, and they get so frightened, about all the stuff they have to do, and I was scared, I was sad, I went through my times of denial and doing my body some pain. Then one day I said,'Look, are you going to lead a life of accomplishing nothing, or are you going to enjoy life'?"

Dorian has hosted several events like BET Anniversary and Achievement Awards with Debbie Allen and Shirley Moore, Black Stuntwomen Beach Competition, and Elite Lee Jeans Model Look with Roshumba and Angelica Bridges.

He has also hosted a radio show on Black Writers, supports minority Film Makers, appeared at high school dedication to support better educational opportunities and been a guest in many charitable activities and parades. He is one of the founding members of the Epiphany Theater Group, established by writer/producer/director Bill Duke. He still performs with a live sketch comedy troupe directed by his sister Mercedes.

An aspiring producer as well as an actor and writer, Gregory has also hosted Lighten Up, a "politically incorrect" radio show which he describes as "a free-for-all about being honest about what we love and hate in life...and we would do it with a sense of humor". Jennifer Rhodes is an American actress whose career spans four decades.

Jennifer Rhodes grew up in Rosiclare, Illinois, a small town on the Ohio River. She became interested in theater while attending Southern Illinois University and moved to New York City soon after graduating. She studied acting and began getting cast for theatre roles. When she eventually moved to Los Angeles, she stopped acting for a while because she felt, as a stage actress, she didn't know very much about acting for television or movie roles. While taking a tour of Alcatraz, Phoebe sees the ghost of killer take possession of a guard's body so he can cross the waters surrounding the prison, and must stop him before it's too late. Meanwhile Piper worries about leaving Prue and Phoebe alone as she leaves on a business trip.

Love Hurts

Leo is shot by the arrow of darklighter, and ask the sisters to help to protect a girl that is being targeted by the darklighter. Piper casts a spell to swap her powers with Leo's but mistakenly the spell causes Prue and Phoebe's powers to swap. Meanwhile Andy leaves his job to help protect Prue's secret from being exposed by an Internal Affairs investigation.

Déjà Vu All Over Again

As a warlock makes plans for his attempt to kill the Charmed Ones, he receives a visit from Tempus, a demon who will turn back time until the warlock succeeds in killing all the sisters. Meanwhile, because of the endless loop, Phoebe has a number of strong cases of déjà vu, and she even sees Andy's death at the hand of a warlock.

Season 2

Witch Trial

On their first anniversary of becoming witches, the sisters face a cloven-hoofed demon called Abraxas, that steals the Book of Shadows and undoes the spells they've cast, releasing old vanquished enemies of the Charmed Ones. If the demon undoes the spell that granted them their powers, they will come back to living normal lives.

When Phoebe has a vision of herself being burnt to death, the sisters travel ten years into the future to learn what happened. Only to discover that she used her powers to kill Cal Greene, causing a local D.A. named Nathanial Pratt to begin modern day witch trials as a platform for political office. Meanwhile, Prue and Piper try to save Phoebe, but they both are surprised and somewhat disappointed to learn how their lives turned out.

The Painted World

Prue is sucked into another dimension and finds herself trapped inside a painting with a dangerous warlock. Meanwhile, after damaging Prue's car, Phoebe tries to get the funds for the repair.

The Devil’s Work

Leo lures the manager of Dishwalla to P3, aware that the manager has made a pact with a demon that grants him fame and fortune in exchange for innocent souls. Meanwhile, Darryl soon becomes involved when he investigates the mysterious disappearance of young women from many of Dishwalla's past concerts, and suspects that more will disappear when they next perform.

She’s A Man, Baby, A Man!
