A council made up of representatives from the five major space-faring civilizations - the Earth Alliance, Mimbari Federation, Centarui Republic, Narn Regime, and Vorlon Empire - work with the League of Non-Aligned Worlds to keep interstellar relations under control. Peter Jurasik
Role: Londo Mollari
Birthplace: Queens, New York, USA
Birthday: 4-25-1950
'I was born at an early age and was close to my mother.' Early in the morning
on April 25th, 1950 to be exact in New York, New York where I grew up in the
ideals of middle class suburbia during the '50s. Memories of my childhood
are golden sweet dreams filled with friends and family.
My high school years were at a Catholic seminary and it was here that I was
cast in my first play -- Hey, Here's an interesting idea: I get to stand in
the spotlight and talk out loud while everyone else sits quietly in the dark
and politely listens to me. Eureka !! I have found it !! Acting swept me away
from everything I thought I was and began to define everything about who I
was becoming.
I graduated as a theater major from the University of New Hampshire and began
my professional career in and around New York and at regional theaters all
over the east working as both an actor and director. In 1975 I sold my motorcycle,
shaved my beard and moved to the west coast.
My first work in LA was writing and performing nightclub comedy but eventually
the opportunities expanded to include television, films, more stage and eventually
even a published novel and a music CD. A few years back I finished a five
year run portraying the outrageous Londo Mollari on the award winning sci-fi
show, "Babylon 5"; however, audiences also seem to remember my work
on 'Hill Street Blues' as Sid the Snitch and for a collection of various fruits
and nuts throughout the eighties and nineties on a wide variety of television
movies, series and appearances. (Please see filmography below)
After twenty five years in LA, I've recently migrated back to the east coast
where I'm currently living with my wife and son in a small town near the Atlantic
Ocean.

Patricia Tallman
Role: Lyta Alexander
Birthday: 9-4-1957
When she portrayed "Lyta Alexander" in the Hugo Award-winning sci-fi
series Babylon 5, Patricia Tallman was the most powerful telepath in the universe.
Seems fitting, considering that the actress knew she was going to be in show
business at the early age of two. It was then that she first appeared with
her father, Jerry, on his mid-west radio show, soloing on "Bicycle Built
for Two."
By age fifteen, Pat was performing in summer stock at the Red Barn Theatre in Saugatuck, Michigan, doing ten shows in eleven weeks. She soon spent all of her high school vacations in professional summer stock, and eventually chose Carnegie Mellon University to earn her BFA in its prestigious theater arts program. While other theater majors waited tables, Pat worked her way through college performing in eighteen musicals at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Recognizing Pat's formidable talents, CMU presented her with an award for Outstanding Achievement In Acting.
Immediately after college, Pat moved to New York City, where she landed a role in the long running off-Broadway hit, Big, Bad Burlesque. She went on to score other parts on the New York stage, including her favourite, "Rosalind" in the Riverside Shakespeare Company's production of As You Like It. Television roles began shortly thereafter, when Pat was cast in a recurring role on the CBS soap opera, Guiding Light. This led to roles on virtually every New York-based daytime serial.
Film roles were not far behind. An opportunity to audition for George Romero for a lead in his new feature, Knightriders, starring Ed Harris, arose and Pat was on her way back to Pittsburgh, acting in her first film. This led to a long working relationship with George Romero, who subsequently cast her in Monkeyshines and Creepshow II. CMU alumn Tom Savini cast her in the series Tales from the Darkside twice. He must have liked her work, for he then cast Pat in the film for which she is perhaps best known: Romero's remake of the 1962 cult classic, Night of the Living Dead, which Savini directed.
Moving to L.A., Pat was soon cast as an underwear model, Billie, on the NBC soap, Generations. They loved her and created a new character for her, undercover cop "Christy Russell," which she played for several months. Her fencing skills landed her the role of an evil, sexy swashbuckler in the film, Ring of the Musketeers. Other films include Sweet Justice, Benefit of the Doubt, Army of Darkness, and both Austin Powers films. TV shows include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Runners (a USA Network pilot), Dark Skies, Babylon 5 and, most recently, The Universe and Harry Morgann (an Independent pilot).
Equally important to Patricia Tallman are her roles of wife -- she is married to Jeffrey Willerth (Kosh, Babylon 5) -- and mother (to 6-year-old Julian), as well as her fund-raising activities for the children of Penny Lane, a home for abused children in North Hills, California.
Through her tireless efforts within the science fiction community, Pat and her fans have contributed more than $50,000 to Penny Lane over the past several years, the bulk of which transformed the CARE Computer Lab dream into reality. The lab is a state-of-the-art facility at Penny Lane to introduce the young residents to computer skills.
Dedicated Patricia Tallman fans make a hobby of trying to spot her in her many stunt performances. An extremely athletic and fearless member of the Stunt Woman's Association of America, Pat has tumbled, slid and taken punches for the likes of Laura Dern (in Jurassic Park), Gates McFadden (in Star Trek: Generations), Geena Davis (in The Long Kiss Goodnight) and Hudson Leick (in Chill Factor).
Pat's fans mean the world to her. To give her fans, and all SF fans, a home on the Internet, she and Jeffrey Willerth founded The Galactic Gateway -- www.TheGalacticGateway.com -- where fans can chat, participate in message boards, download video clips and purchase guaranteed authentic merchandise. Many science fiction actors participate in the Gateway.
Pat's roots as as stage actress have never left her, and she continues to tread the footlights in Los Angeles whenever film and TV work allow her the time. Pat recently appeared in a production of The Vagina Monologues in LA. She is a dedicated student of Charles Nelson Reilly, who is her teacher and mentor.
Pat's latest projects include starring in the science fiction thriller Never Die Twice (2001), and playing one of the leads, Lieutenant Richmond, in two audio plays, Lives of the Cat and Anne Manx. One reviewer wrote that Richmond is "... brilliantly portrayed by Patricia Tallman" (Reviewers Bookwatch, June 2000). She also starred as Ms. Peters in the horror short "Jennifer Is Dead" (2002) and as former movie star Alisa Fox in the black comedy "For Pete's Wake," now in post-production. (Dec. 2003)
In addition, Pat's voice can be heard in the cartoon Babylon 5 parodies Frightspace and Grudgematch.

FilmX-Men Will OWN the Weekend Posted by Sam on Friday, 26 May 20063 Comments so far...Well fans, that time has finally arrived for those living in North America. “X-Men: The Last Stand” opens today in theaters all across America and Canada and it is expected to set new records in attendance and box office receipts. Many European viewers have already been treated to a first look at the supposed last film in the franchise to feature all the primary cast members. With the financial success of “Ice Age 2: The Meltdown” and the unprecendented reception that “The Da Vinci Code” has received from the worldwide movie going audience, 2006 is already looking pretty good for filmmaking. Now, with “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “Superman Returns” quickly on its heels, movie moguls have got to be leaning back in their overstuffed leather chairs and sucking on those big Cuban cigars with a glee they haven’t relished for several years. TVThe NBC Shuffle Posted by Sam on Friday, 26 May 20061 Comment so far...Amid a last minute move to counter FOX’s big Thursday night fall lineup, NBC, the one-time king of Thursday night programming has moved several of its new shows off the fall Thursday night lineup and moved them to Monday. Why is this important to scifi/fantasy and horror fans? NBC, put in the FOX quandry, has decided to remove its big supernatural hit “Medium” starring Patricia Arquette from its primetime fall schedule. The show will return in January on Sunday nights at 10:00 PM ET, although execs at NBC have indicated that if any of the new shows fail in the ratings race “Medium” could be brought back before January. Admitting defeat and loss of its longtime reign over Thursday’s, NBC has thrown in the towel by placing Howie Mandel’s “Deal or No Deal” game show up against FOX’s mega hit “Grey’s Anatomy.” The only Thursday staple still on tap for NBC will be the award winning “ER.” Also on board for Thursday night for the Peacock Network will be the new SF series “Heroes,” the story about ordinary people who discover they possess unusual powers. If you have watched scifi over the last 20 years and have seen an alien on the screen then chances are very likely it was Bill Blair. FilmTime For Sale Posted by Sam on Friday, 26 May 20061 Comment so far...Would you sell chunks of your time in life just to try and change the worst day of your life? That is the premise of a 20th Century Fox movie concept that just might fly because the man wanting to do the screenplay and directing of this supernatural thriller is Mr. Spike Lee. “Selling Time” has spent a great deal of time on the Hollywood shelf having seen the light at Dreamworks, then put down. It was moved over to Fox 2000 where it lay dormant. It found a brief ray of light through Davis Entertainment which tried to get it rolling with Will Smith in the lead and Forest Whitaker helming. That too fell by the wayside until just recently when studio exec Peter Kang moved from Fox 2000 over to 20th Century Fox, bringing with him the “Selling Time” ideal. Now it is on again with Lee taking a strong interest in developing the project. Fan MailbagFrom Evo: Happy Towel Day Posted by Sam on Thursday, 25 May 2006No Comments so far... TOWEL DAY E. FilmYou Can’t Stop the Rain Posted by Sam on Thursday, 25 May 2006No Comments so far...Submitted by: Michael R. Mennenga (Director of Technical Operations - Farpoint Media) Independent filmmaker Alaskan Nomad Productions brings on the terror in “Rain Bringer.” Director/co-writer Sean Morris and screenwriter Bryan Davidson tie in a violent lynching in the 1930’s, serial killings in 1965, and vicious murders in the present. What is it that links this series of brutal events to the normally quiet suburb of Greeley County? That’s the question that Trent Calavados must answer after his mother takes her own life, leaving him with only a cryptic suicide note avowing that their family is cursed. Hyper-intelligent and introverted, abandoned long ago by his father, and an outcast at his high school, Trent is now completely alone. Her bestselling series of novels “The Dragonriders of Pern” has been optioned by Copperheart Entertainment for full-feature film production. Originally opted by Battlestar Galactica’s Ronald D. Moore, the 19-book series fell into the hands of Copperheart after Moore’s efforts shifted to getting BSG into production as a television series and Moores insistance on keeping McCaffrey’s original mythical concepts in place. The studio at the time wanted to tone that down. Under the leadership of Steve Hoban at Cooperheart, “Pern’s” mythos will hopefully stay in tact. Film“Kung Fu” Kicking In the Big Screen Posted by Sam on Thursday, 25 May 2006No Comments so far...I was wondering what has taken Hollywood so long to come around to bringing the 1970’s hit TV show “Kung Fu” to the big screen, and now they are finally getting around to it. The television program starred David Carradine as a Shaolin monk named Kwai Chang Caine who fled China to the wild wild West of the United States in the 1800’s. Along his many journeys across the vast frontier he came to the aid of those in need of protection from those who would do them harm. Legendary Films, a division of Warner Bros. has opted the film and is looking to the original series creator Ed Spielman and writer Howard Friedlander to write the screenplay. Since this project has just been announced there is no official word if Carradine will play a role in its development.
